these are the things we go through

well, it has been a while. but i have something very important to say. and since i'm almost positive nobody reads this, i will tell all here.

today i received a letter from cy-ridge which said pretty much that cy-ridge has been 'designated a persistently dangerous school under the No Child Left Behind's School Safety Choice Option' because of this 'the NCLB requires us to extend transfer options to students electing to transfer' if that is not incredible news, i don't know what is! so on the transfer paper they MAILED TO US, you had to put your first and second choices, which is where the possible 'badness' comes in. i put cy-woods as my second choice so i could end up going there, but i don't think so because the transfers are on a 'first come, first serve' basis. the letters were mailed yesterday and we turned in our form today. so we're pretty hopeful that ours will be processed first-ish and i'll go to my first choice which was....you guessed it...

well, that's all i have to say. if you actually read this call/text/im/comment so we can talk about this amazing-ed-ness! anyways. i can barely contain myself. but i don't find out which one i'm going to until august 9th! the suspense is killing me!
